Product Information

Castrol Radicool SF is a long-life coolant based on monoethylene glycol with advanced organic inhibitor technology. In contrast to traditional antifreeze coolants, Castrol Radicool SF does not contain amines, nitrites, phosphates, silicates or other inorganic inhibitors. Castrol Radicool SF works over a wide operating temperature range for effective engine cooling in all climates. Castrol Radicool SF should be used at concentrations of between 33% and 50% dilution with purified water to give optimum corrosion protection and freezing protection between -18°C and -36°C.

Application

Castrol Radicool SF has been designed for use in engines employing cast iron, aluminium, copper or combinations of these metals used in modern engine designs. Castrol Radicool SF provides excellent protection to light metal engines. Compatible with standard rubber hoses, gaskets and seals used within the cooling system. It is suitable for a wide range of vehicles including cars, trucks and buses using both petrol and diesel engines. It is therefore particularly suitable for use in mixed fleets. In the majority of cases, coolants are not compatible and should not be mixed with other coolants unless directed by the equipment manufacturer. If using Castrol Radicool SF for the first time, ensure that the cooling system has been adequately flushed with clean water.
